Interviewing Your Potential Photographer Pt. 2
I’ve been talking about how to find the right photographer for YOU. I understand it can get too overwhelming... photography business has been so saturated more than ever. So here’s the pt. 2 of what you need to ask when you’re looking for your photographer! I’m so obsessed with this topic. I thought I can do it in 2 posts but I think I need more than that… lol. I just want to help you! but I am not good at writing so bear with me here.
There are no right or wrong answers here. It’s about how you feel about that photographer. I put my answers for an example.
Q: What products do you offer to display images?
Not a lot of people realize it but this is the most important question you should ask when you hire a family photographer. There're so many photographers who offer you "all-inclusive" deals that you get all image files from sessions and that is it. I was doing that thinking that is what my clients want. So wrong... I quickly realized busy parents don't have time to research for a good photo lab to print out their photos! In a lot of cases, the photos they pay for would just sit in their computer, maybe a post or two on social media, and use it in a holiday card but that's it. If you invest in your photoshoot, why don't you enjoy that investment every day! A professional photographer usually spends a tremendous amount of time researching the printing lab they like to make sure their quality is up to their artistic expectations. Don't let your beautiful family history disappear with your old computer!
